Hump Day Hook



Hello all, Happy Halloween! Today I'm sharing a little piece from So Beautifully Broken. I love sweet, romantic tid bits, but today I'm sharing something a little heavier. I like the drama and emotion, so here you go!

So Beautifully Broken

“I want to help you,” Jack whispered into her hair as he breathed in her scent. She smelled of apples, sweet candied apples. She fit into his arms perfectly, like she was made for him to hold.
“You can’t fix me, Jack. I don’t know how not to hurt.”
Lilly fisted Jack’s t-shirt in her small, trembling hands at the base of his back. To him, her entire soul screamed for help without her saying a single word. Everything about her radiated broken innocence.
