What's up people?! I'm back from the sick and have a nice little bit from Silent Tears for you. Hope you like a little Brax and Cam.

Excerpt:

“I know you have secrets.” He softened his tone as he took a step closer to her and placed his hands on her jaw, cradling her face. “I can see the pain in your eyes, Cam. I’m not blind and I’m not stupid. I know you’re hiding something from me.”

“Please. Don’t push me into to talking about something you’re not ready to hear.”

Brax dropped his forehead to hers and took a deep breath. “Is it because you’re being forced to marry me?”

The words were on the tip of her tongue clawing at her lips to be set free. All she had to do was tell him what had happened to her, what the Mankato’s were using to manipulate her family. How, once again, she was being forced to do something against her will.

*Sighs*...I love these two!

She needed air, so she rushed back through the mourning people and crashed through the front doors of the funeral home. The fingers she’s pressed to his chest still felt cold and the chill seemed to be spreading throughout her entire body. Jolie wanted her love back. She wanted her life back. She wanted Ethan.

Hello, I'm sick this week so Ima keep it short and sweet.

Excerpt:

Jolie sat down after her long day of organizing. She tugged one of the last boxes onto her lap and ran her thumb over the lid. Jolie swallowed past the bitter grip of grief. She flipped the lid back and stared brokenly at the contents. Baseball caps, old, faded t-shirts, photo’s that held perfect moments that Jolie would never need a picture to remember. The box was full-to-the-brim with Ethan, even his smell filtered from within. Great gasping sobs left her as she slammed the box closed and shoved it under her bed. Her heart pounded in her chest, and panic bubbled its way up until she cried out in agony.

Hump Day Hook and Giveaway

This is one of my favorite scenes in the very first chapter.

Her hands ghosted down the back of his neck, over his shoulders, and across his chest to the buttons on his vest. As she worked the buttons, he put his hands on both sides of her face and kissed her so passionately, her knees nearly buckled. Once she got the vest off, she had no patients for the shirt buttons. She ripped them open with both of them groaning in delight at the sounds of buttons hitting the wall and hardwood floor. With their hands working together, his clothes quickly became a pile on the floor next to hers.
